Position Overview

As a Residential Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for performing professional air duct cleaning services in residential homes throughout the Milwaukee area.

You will work directly with homeowners, evaluate HVAC duct systems, perform thorough cleanings using professional equipment, and ensure every customer receives outstanding service.

Our ideal candidate combines technical ability, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to doing the job correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive residential air duct cleaning services using professional negative-air equipment, agitation tools, and industry-standard cleaning methods.
Inspect accessible residential HVAC ductwork, supply and return vents, and related ventilation components.
Safely operate and maintain professional air duct cleaning equipment.
Protect customers' homes, furnishings, flooring, and surrounding work areas throughout the cleaning process.
Explain cleaning procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally to homeowners.
Identify opportunities for additional services, including dryer vent cleaning and other appropriate ventilation cleaning services.
Document completed work with before-and-after photographs and service reports.
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and properly functioning equipment.
Follow company safety procedures, equipment protocols, and applicable industry standards.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Work independently or alongside other technicians depending on job requirements.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Previous professional residential air duct cleaning experience.
Familiarity with negative-air machines, rotary brushes, air whips, and duct cleaning equipment.
Understanding of residential HVAC systems and ductwork configurations.
Experience with dryer vent cleaning.
Previous experience in residential home services, HVAC maintenance, or related trades.
Familiarity with NADCA cleaning practices.

Required Qualifications

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.
Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established service procedures.

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
