Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:

Dryer Vent Cleaning & Installation:
- Perform thorough inspections and cleaning of dryer vents, identifying and resolving potential fire hazards.
- Install new dryer vents and venting systems, ensuring proper installation and compliance with safety codes.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, blowers, and air compressors, to ensure thorough and efficient cleaning, and cameras to document before and after improvements.
- Educate customers on the importance of dryer vent maintenance and safety.
Maintenance & Repair:
- Clean air ducts and vents to remove dust, debris, allergens, and other contaminants, improving indoor air quality.
- Responsible for dryer vent rerouting which may involve relocating or altering existing dryer vent systems to improve airflow, meet safety codes, or accommodate renovations. Technician responsible for installing new ducts, seal connections, and ensure proper vent pathing to prevent blockages, reduce energy use, and minimize fire risks, while complying with building standards.
- Assess air duct systems for blockages, leaks, or damage and provide recommendations for repairs or further maintenance.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers about the status of their service and answer any questions they may have.
- Explain the cleaning process to customers, answer questions, and offer recommendations for improving air quality and system performance.
- Represent the Dryer Vent Superheroes brand professionally at all times.
Other Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work van.
- Maintain accurate service records, including before-and-after photos, system assessments, and customer feedback.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols, ensuring the proper use of tools and handling of materials to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Must be able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces.
HVAC experience is a plus

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
